Upper eyelid surgery
Removes hanging upper lid skin and, if needed, fat. The incision sits in the natural lid crease.
Usually 30–45 minutes under local anaesthesia. Desk work after 3–4 days; stitches out on day 5–7.
Every plan starts with an eye examination. Below is a short overview of each procedure; detailed medical information is on Dr. Atabay's medical site.

Corrects under-eye bags, often through the inside of the lid with no visible scar. Fat can be removed or moved into the hollow below.
Under local anaesthesia, same-day discharge. Most bruising settles within two weeks.
Bags can come from fat, a hollow or fluid. The examination finds the cause, and the treatment follows it.
Not every bag needs surgery; the plan is made after the examination.
Lifts a lowered brow that pushes skin onto the upper lid. A direct brow lift is the method preferred most often.
Can be combined with upper eyelid surgery in the same session.
Repositions and anchors the outer corner of the eye.
Suitability depends on lid tone and the shape of the eye socket.
Lifts the descended cheek through the lower lid incision, shortening the lid–cheek junction.
Usually planned together with lower eyelid surgery.
Send photos of your eyes (straight ahead, eyes closed, looking up) and a short medical history. Dr. Atabay reviews them personally and replies in English. The surgical decision is always made after the examination in Izmir.
