During recovery

Swelling and bruising usually peak on day 2–3 and largely settle within two weeks. Gentle walks are fine early on; avoid heavy effort, saunas and swimming for the first weeks. Sunglasses help, and Izmir's seafront promenade is a pleasant place for a slow walk.

Start with a photo assessment

Send photos of your eyes (straight ahead, eyes closed, looking up) and a short medical history. Dr. Atabay reviews them personally and replies in English. The surgical decision is always made after the examination in Izmir.
